End of Year Exams

The Ugandan school year ends at Christmas; 62 students took the Ugandan Cerificate of Education exams at Christmas 2011. The results were as follows:-

The results are better than other state run schools in the area and are a credit to both teachers and students, especially as most of the students live in poverty. The entire district of Katakwi (with several secondary schools) only had a total of 4 students passing in Division 1. 

Many of the students have now registered for further education in other schools, and the 2 students who achieved Divsion 1 in 2010 are being sponsored by another charity to go to away to a top school.
