Also support Global challenge when you shop online, with a range of 500 well known retailers, such as Tesco, Amazon, MS and many more. To raise money for Global Challenge at no extra cost to yourself, you first need to register- clic on http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk. Once registered, stay on the Easy Fundraising site, clic the Search button for the Retailer you want and that's it! You will automatically be directed to the retailer's shopping site and when you make a purchase, the Retailer will donate GC some money!  This is because the overheads associated with internet shopping are a fraction of what they are in the High Street.

easyfundraising takes the hassle out of fundraising and provides a FREE shopping directory for Global Challenge  supporters to use when they shop online.
Internet shopping is becoming increasingly more popular and now accounts for a a large percentage of the UK's total retail spend. More than 10m homes now have Broadband access, and 38% of Internet users have shopped online more than 10 times in the last twelve months. An estimated 860m parcels will be shipped to Britain's 26m Internet customers this year, with each shopper spending an average of £1600 online. One in every two of GC supporters are likely to shop online.

easyfundraising provides the charity with an additional income stream but without supporters having to make extra donations or contributions. They simply shop online as they would normally.

Easyfundraising is quick to set-up, simple to use and takes minimal time and effort to administer. It's also completely FREE - both for Global Challenge and our supporters.

How does it work?
Whenever supporters 'click-through' to any retailer's website from the easyfundraising site and then proceed to make any purchase, each participating retailer donates a percentage of the cost of their order, but at no extra cost to the purchaser. Donations range from 0.5 - 15% of the purchase price, or with some categories such as Insurance, a cash value. The purchaser shops online as normal and does not pay a penny extra for their transactions.

Why do retailers make free donations?

It seems generous, but with the invention of the Internet retailer's overheads have greatly reduced. Online there's no shop, heating, electricity, rates, shop-fittings, salesperson, and so on. Many retailers are more than happy to help support good causes when a new 'online customer' is introduced to them.

What will it cost Global Challenge & its supporters to use/join?
Nothing. There are no joining fees or monthly subscriptions and they can use the site as little or as often as they like to raise funds for you.

Revenue potential
The amount the charity can raise depends on what is purchased - each product has a different donation associated with it. For example a new mobile phone may generate approx £15, a motor insurance policy £35, a new CD or DVD 2% of it's value. Research shows that for every 25 people who actively use this type of service, approx £500 per annum (or more) can be raised for your organisation.

Higher donations
As more organisations use the EasyFundraising site, the site is able to command higher donations from retailers. Soon the site could be paying GC £20 per mobile, £45 per motor insurance policy, 4% per CD or DVD - or more. Any additional revenue will be re-distributed back to Global Challenge, so all organisations/charities will benefit from their 'indirect' involvement with one another and from the 'collective buying power' of the group.
